Australia leads the world in hepatitis C treatment – what’s behind its success?
Professor Greg Dore, of the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, explores in a piece for The Conversation, why Australia is a leading country in the global response to hepatitis C. Since March 2016, around 40,000 people with hepatitis C have had treatment. An estimated 95% of them have been cured.
