Dr Julian Carlin develops models that connect observations with theory. Whether using Bayesian techniques, Monte Carlo simulations, signal processing, or exploratory data analysis, Dr Carlin's passion is figuring out how complex interacting systems respond to different conditions, to help understand how the world works.
