Josephine is an antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) pharmacist and project officer at the Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Guidance Group. Josephine started her professional journey by completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Scholars Program) through Monash University. Her dedication extends to her passion in infectious diseases, AMS and women’s and newborn health. Josephine enjoys partnering with consumers and working within the multidisciplinary team to make meaningful contributions to a one health approach. 

  • Key Achievements
    • Josephine’s portolio includes the successful implementation and oversight of general sepsis and maternity sepsis pathways, alongside her instrumental role in launching the COVID-19 access infusion program and establishing AMS clinical ward rounds. Her contributions have been pivotal in improving antimicrobial prescribing whilst optimising patient care delivery.

      She is a subject matter expert, supporting the National Antimicrobial Prescribing Survey program and contributing to the development of educational material for the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship.
