Michael completed his PhD in March 2022 in the lab of Zamin Iqbal at the University of Cambridge. His thesis focused on developing computational methods for analysing bacterial pan-genomes and applying these to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Michael is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Lachlan Coin’s lab at the Peter Doherty Institute. He continues to work on computational methods for M. tuberculosis analysis – with a current focus on drug resistance prediction.
