HIV positive people who are currently taking antiretroviral therapy still have some virus replicating in their blood cells. In order to develop curative strategies it is important to understand to what extent this ongoing viral replication occurs. The purpose of this research project is to determine whether taking 8 weeks of the HIV medication Dolutegravir, in addition to your normal HIV medication, will have an effect on the ongoing virus replication in your immune system. Recruitment is now closed.
