You can now keep track of clinical trials that are recruiting for volunteers, and our current projects, on the Doherty Institute website via our Translational and Clinical Research section

Translational and clinical research at the Doherty Institute ranges from interventional and observational studies, to laboratory studies. 

There are a number of current studies taking place, our researchers are often conducting a number of observational studies in influenza, HIV, malaria, hepatitis, tuberculosis, dengue and fungal infections, with both local and far reaching impact.

The Doherty Institute combines discovery science and clinical research to improve health outcomes, with a focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases globally through the translation of basic scientific discoveries into clinical practice.
