Immunity: Harnessing the power and specificity of the immune system to beat killer diseases – a three-part sampler of the research in the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct.
From 21-26 August 2016, over 3000 experts in the field of immunology will descend on Melbourne for the International Congress of Immunology 2016 (ICI 2016).
To celebrate and showcase some of the cutting-edge research being conducted in the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute) in collaboration with its joint venture partners, The University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, will host Immunity as part of National Science Week, featuring a stellar line up of guest speakers including Nobel Laureate Professor Peter Doherty, the Patron and namesake of the Doherty Institute.
