Brendan Rouse is the Environmental Officer at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) where he monitors the organisation’s environmental impact and develops strategies to adopt more sustainable practices. Life science research has a huge environmental footprint and there is much that can be done to reduce it. Join this seminar hosted by GreenDISCO, the Doherty Institute Sustainability Committee, to hear how Brendan uses his experience as a sustainability professional and EMBL’s commitment to sustainability to drive other life science research organisations to start their own journey to more sustainable science.
