Project: Developing Generative Artificial Intelligence for designing RNA

Coin Group

Generative Artificial intelligence provides exciting new approaches for designing biomolecules which have desired properties. This project will use data on RNA structure to train generative AI models for synthesising RNA molecules with desired enzymatic or regulatory properties.

The Coin group applies genomic sequencing to characterise and understand the dynamics of  human and bacterial genomics and transcriptomics. We utilise long-read, real-time sequencing for detection and characterization of bacterial pathogens direct from samples, and are leaders in the development of host immune response biomarkers for detection of bacterial and viral infections. We develop and use algorithmic approaches for analysis of high throughput sequence data.
